has expressed sincere thanks to the excellent performance of THAI Ground Services boarding team handling 9W063 on 22 January 2013. Despite of the fact that the aircraft was late arrival into Bangkok and the gate was late opened by 9W security staff and the boarding gate readers were unserviceable, the boarding team has handled the boarding activity without any discrepancy. All irregularity cases were properly dealt. The boarding was completed well in time.

We have observed the gate handling activities of gate staff flight SQ975/22Mar BKK-SIN.
Greeting:
The team members have shown their friendliness in greeting passengers. They greeted passengers by name and with eye-contact especially priority passengers who came later for boarding.
Managing of boarding:
Supervisor and team have shown a good management of boarding passengers. Chinese group were escorted to sit at the area which would not be blocked for boarding. They have also were invited to standby at the entrance for first boarding of Economy Class.
Boarding announcement made by Supervisor was clear.
Please convey this appreciation to staff concerned to maintain their good performance and good team work.

Dear K2, Customer Relations,
Please convey our sincere appreciation to the following staffs;
1) SQ979/17Feb12, Flight controller KhunArpaphanSakulsakawsawas
2) SQ981/17Feb12, Supervisor KhunSununtaRoongsaiwatana and Flight controller, KhunSuchittraDokprom
Due to the late arrival of the aircraft from Singapore, both SQ979 and SQ981 were delayed. Most of the affected passengers were those with outward journey out of Singapore.
The above mentioned supervisor, KhunSununta had fully assisted to contact many airlines and checked for alternative routing. At the same time, two Flight controllers worked efficiently together to monitor the transferring baggage, seating, catering figures. KhunArpaphan also voluntarily offer an assistance to send telexes to down-line stations after flights had departed.
We truly appreciate the efforts made by staff during the flight disruption. Please inform them of our appreciation and keep the team spirit up high.
